Slate facade

This cabin on Mosetertoppen is a prime example of how Ottaskifer slate can be utilized.

The cabin is located right next to the Mosetertoppen ski stadium in Hafjell, and is 450 m2. It is clad with Otta slate on the exterior of the facade, roof and walls.

The contractor, Pre-Con, has its roots in Otta, and has been using Ottaskifer for a long time, which they say is “the finest stone in Norway”.

The cabin has six bedrooms, a spa area, wine room and double garage. It has been built using exclusive materials, and it is probably not without reason that this cabin is referred to as “Fjell-Norway’s most exclusive cabin”.
